What's New In The 2019 Jeep Cherokee?

825 × 550?

The 2019 Jeep Cherokee is seeing a minor redesign with some of the old features being brought back to life and some of the current ones being modernized and revamped. Drivers from Norwalk and Lorain will still be able to enjoy the stunning iconic Jeep brand over-all look, but in a slightly different way. Here are a few features of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee that will be changed from the 2018 Jeep Cherokee version.

  • New Exterior - While the "new" front will look semi-familiar, it is a change. Mimicking that of the Jeep Compass and the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Jeep Cherokee has now taken the boxy, yet stylish look with some new standard LED headlights, new taillights, a lighter tailgate, and of course, the traditional seven-slot grille.
  • New Interior - Most of the interior materials have been upgraded, which includes cleaner bezels and trim, and so has the technological features. You can find a standard seven-inch touchscreen, which can be upgraded to an 8.4-inch Uconnect® system, and a more driver-oriented center console as well as a new cargo hold, which includes a lower cargo floor and up to 27 cubic-feet.
  • New Powertrain - Efficiency in the Jeep Cherokee may have been an issue before, but in the 2019 Jeep Cherokee it is ready to prove that it can be powerful and efficient at the same time. There are three engines available for the 2019 model, including a new turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that will provide you with up to 270-horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.

The 2019 Jeep Cherokee also offers many other new features, such as upgraded safety programs and new luxury amenities, and we, here at Ken Ganley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, encourage those from Sandusky OH, Vermilion OH, and beyond, to stop by our Norwalk OH dealership to see what else the 2019 Jeep Cherokee has to offer in person.
